WHY ATTEND THE OJB EXPERIENCE

Welcome to the 'Out of the Jewel Box' Experience.

This exclusive in-person event offers a unique alternative to the traditional trade show experience. Not intended to compete with the established shows in Tucson, this alterative concept was created to offer a select group of exhibitors and attendees a relaxed and intimate setting for networking, product showcasing, and business interactions.

Attendees are welcome to utilize the lounge area designed for networking and collaborative work.

The venue serves as a relaxed space for attendees to utilize for their own networking and meeting place or to simply kick up their feet and take a breather from the hustle and bustle that is the Tucson show experience.

Ideally situated within a 5 minute walk to and from the Tucson Convention Center, the OJB Experience is your go-to venue to shop, network, and relax.

Walking distance between OJB Experience & AGTA GemFair

It only takes 5 minutes to walk from one show to the other.

MEET THE OJB EXHIBITORS

Sorbet Sapphire

A proudly Canadian company, Sorbet Sapphire specializes in natural, coloured sapphires. With a focus on responsibly sourcing, Sorbet Sapphire works closely with mines, cutting factories, and internationally respected suppliers.

Gold and Smoke

Gold and Smoke is an American jewelry brand specializing in crafting unique pieces from 18k gold and sterling silver, using flattened bullets as their signature element. Each design symbolizes a journey of transformation, representing strength, courage, and resilience.

Swedish GemGroup

Swedish Gem Group travels the globe sourcing sapphires and forwards the story of each one to their customers. The reason why the details of each sapphire can be preserved through the cutting process is that this Swedish company operates their own 5-cutters lapidary in Nivithigala, Sri Lanka. Here, traceability is taken so seriously that each rough crystal yielding a clean gem above 1 carat is photographed before it is cut.

Renisis

Renisis is the artistic vision of Sardwell, a sculptor and designer whose work lives at the intersection of jewellery, sculpture, and theatre. Rooted in the Latin words renitor (to strive or resist) and genesis (a beginning), Renisis represents struggle, rebirth, and creative transformation. Each piece channels the power of sculpture to alter space—now reimagined as wearable art that empowers and transports its wearer. Drawing inspiration from Sardwell’s travels through China, Brazil, and beyond, Renisis celebrates human connection, craftsmanship, and the beauty of becoming.

Rémy Rotenier

Born and raised in Paris from a family of designers, Rémy became a gemologist and a classically trained jewelry designer. First moving to New York in 1990 to join Tiffany & Co., Rémy would go onto found Rémy Rotenier, Inc. in 2006 with a focus on creating jewelry collections, custom designs and private label. Rémy teaches jewelry design and rendering around the world and new workshops at GIA. He has designed and presented collections on television in Europe and the US for years for QVC, JTV, Value Vision and Juwelo.

GemologyGeek

GemologyGeek brings together expert gem-knowledge and rare, artisan-mined gemstones, diamonds and minerals, each with a story from “mine to market to your home” as the brand itself puts it.     Whether you are seeking a one-of-a-kind sapphire, tanzanite, or mineral specimen, GemologyGeek remains committed to education and transparent disclosure, making it a trusted source for designers, private collectors and gemstone lovers alike.

Moyo Gems

Moyo Gems is a responsible miner-to-market gemstone collaboration born in East Africa. We are working with the women artisanal gem miners (and their male allies!) in Tanzania and Kenya to track rubies, sapphires,  tourmaline,  garnets, citrines, and amethysts, from miner to market. Moyo Gems works to empower women miners to improve their financial security, access new, consistent market opportunities for fair trade, and channel investments back into their communities. The international nonprofit organization Pact operates Moyo Gems in direct partnership with Kenyan and Tanzanian women's mining associations, AWEIK  & TAWOMA, and commercial partners ANZA Gems, Maison Piat, and  Nineteen48.
